Homework Term 2
Task 1- Creativity is when you do something or say something that is original and is unique so that no one else can think of it.
The similarities is that they both say that you have to be original. In my opinion the google definition is better because it puts it into better words.
Task 2- Yes, because although imitation is sometimes considered normal, originality is unique, and most people will not like what you think because they are following the crowd. However you can become respected by people for thinking outside of the box and being original. James bond is an example of a text that imitates itself however it is still creative as every movie is different yet still follows what has happened previously.
Task 3- The movie can be classed as original because the certain characters don't follow certain dress codes, Eg the main character. This makes it original because people wont be seeing the same characters that they see in every movie therefore making it boring. The into is also creative because of the use of camera work, it is creative because of the shot types, the movement of the camera show how it is dramatic. It is original because it is showing how everyone is the same (Represented by the blue) but she is unique and is changing the world by spreading her colours making it so not everyone is the same.
Task 4- I am taking this article as a message to tel,k people that they should do stuff that they enjoy and not what other people want, i am also taking is to tell people to stop following the crowd. This has inspired me to start being myself and stop following the crowd, therefore i am going to stop trying to be someone else.
