The News Homework

1- according to Denis McShane (1979) and Harriss, Leiter and Johnson, news values are ideas or assumptions that form and ideological background that is made by the journalist or the news paper company (eg the sun) these values are not always clear and many of them remain a secret rather than being public-ally published .
We can access the news via newspaper, internet, or by talking to someone and even by tv broadcast like the news.

2-  1-the main story has a main image that is linked to the story which draws attention into the story this also gives a sense of realsim
2-the date of the article is on the top which tells people what copy of the newspaper this is
3-the headline severs as an intro to the article and give people and idea of what happened
4- the masthead in the top left corner shows who owns the rights to the magazine and alos gives credit to the company who have made it
5- the paragraph is in bold which draws attention towards it and simulates its importance

3- a news agency is a organisation that collects information and distributes it out to the newspaper company's 

4-  i believe that the media has tried to put a bad vibe on Jeremy because they have called him a "lunatic" only because he has different views than the people that have called him that and there isnt much evidence to suggest that he is actually a lunatic however the media could be showing the real side of Jeremy which some people might not be able to see which means they are showing him in a different light which some people may just not agree with.

5-i believe that the internet has had a negative impact on news because people can spread fake news or they could twist the story which can makes the news a lie, however it can be said that the internet has allowed the news to spread more which can have a positive impact but can also have a negative impact because of the ways people are spreading it.
